We’re hitting the gas and accelerating!
The mobilization on September 10, with over 30,000 people in the streets of Toulouse, showed our determination. It was a strong signal, but it was just a taste of what’s to come. To avoid suffering from the austerity measures of the now-defunct Bayrou government’s budget, replaced by Lecornu’s, we must turn this anger into action and mobilize massively by striking on Thursday, September 18!
« Change everything to change nothing »: the puppet show continues at Matignon. Let’s not be mistaken. The government change is just an illusion. The appointment of Sébastien Lecornu to Matignon is just a maneuver to put a new face on a political line that never changes: sparing the rich and making everyone else pay! While the most deprived are targeted, the government maintains a system that outrageously favors the great fortunes and corporations. The Senate investigative committee’s report is clear: 211 billion euros are granted to large corporations every year with no strings attached, no oversight, and no results on employment.
The fight continues at Airbus!
Within our company, there is no shortage of reasons to be unhappy:
- Unacceptable overtime: Management is pushing us to our limits to meet delivery targets, to the detriment of our working conditions and much-needed hiring.
- The injustice of individual raises: Fewer than 70% of employees got a raise in 2025. Management is mocking us with this wage policy.
- More dividends, fewer rights: Management has raised its target for distributing profits as dividends to shareholders by +10%. From now on, they can be given up to 50% of the profits!
On Thursday, September 18, the CGT is calling on all Airbus employees, subcontractors, and temporary workers to go on strike for a duration of their choice.
Join the rally at 9 a.m. at the Louis Bréguet entrance* with a barbecue starting at 11 a.m., followed by the protest in Toulouse at 2 p.m. at Saint Cyprien.
On September 2, the CGT contacted the other unions to form a united front at Airbus Avions for September 10 and 18. To this day, the CGT, like all employees, is still waiting for this inter-union front at Airbus. This is despite a national and departmental inter-union call for a strike!
