To defend your rights, the CGT will not back down!

For several months, Airbus Management has been increasing acts of intimidation and threats against CGT representatives. This practice stands in stark contrast to the rhetoric regarding the so-called « quality of social dialogue » at Airbus!

The great theater of social dialogue!

No one is fooled: negotiations are scripted in advance, the Works Councils (CSE) are mere rubber stamps, and your rights are being stripped away year after year. Whether it is RELOAD or wage negotiations, the scenario is always the same: a staged performance ending in setbacks for workers. This situation is the result of a labor relations policy driven by Airbus Management and supported by a few other trade unions.

The objective: to disarm employees and scale back their rights!

The CGT refuses to play a part in this comedy!

While others sign agreements without consulting employees, the CGT takes action to make things move. We consult you so we can decide together. We do not hesitate to defend your rights and freedoms in court when Management crosses the red line (see opposite). The CGT’s goal is to give power back to employees. In fact, more and more workers are seeing through the facade and are voting for or joining the CGT to move in this direction.

Management is attacking the only union defending workers’ rights!

Faced with the CGT’s growing influence at Airbus, Management has chosen the hard way: intimidating its representatives. Three of our CGT representatives at Airbus are currently targeted by disciplinary proceedings. One of them is threatened with dismissal, and his case is currently before the Labor Inspector. It is solely their work as representatives that is being challenged: for Management, a « good » representative is one who bows their head and says « thank you » when spoken to. Airbus is not an isolated case. In over 300 companies, other CGT representatives are being threatened by their management. The employers’ federation knows full well that the CGT is the only bulwark against their plans for social regression.

To counter this offensive, join the union!

The union is the only tool available to employees for collective defense. There is no union without members, and the CGT only exists thanks to the employees who share its values and have decided to join us to build a collective determined to defend our rights and win new ones.

Strengthening the CGT at Airbus means guaranteeing more justice, ensuring everyone’s protection, and allowing a real force of opposition to act in our interests. Joining the union of your choice is a fundamental right.

When Management breaks the law, the courts decide!

  • In 2025, the CGT saw Management convicted for preventing union representatives from meeting employees at their workstations. The court reiterated that the freedom of movement for staff representatives—for instance, to assess your working conditions—is an essential right.
  • In 2026, the CGT successfully sued to annul several articles of the « Social Dialogue » agreement, leading to the conviction of both Management and the signatory unions. The agreement was found to infringe upon union freedom, a fundamental right recognized by the Constitution and the International Labour Organization (ILO). To defend your collective rights, the CGT is the only one taking action, including in the courts.
