From February 17 to 19, 2026, the CGT organized a survey for employees at the Airbus Operations and Airbus SAS sites.
A massive turnout! Over these three days, 1 512 employees participated in the survey, either on paper or online. This high level of participation provides us with a clear picture of your expectations. The details of the answers to the two questions are as follows:
How much of a gross monthly pay rise (in euros) are you looking for?
The average monthly increase requested by employees is :

Would you be willing to take strike action to secure progress in the annual salary negotiations (NAO)?

Our work, our results! While the Airbus Group’s 2025 results, published on February 19, are outstanding, we demand a fair share of the wealth created by our work! In this regard, management’s current proposals at the Group-level negotiations are simply unacceptable.
CGT Letter to Management Without waiting for management’s specific proposals for negotiations within each group subsidiary, the CGT has sent a formal letter (see overleaf) to voice the expectations clearly expressed by the employees.
What next for the employees? In the CGT’s view, no significant progress on wages will be achieved through the « social dialogue » favored by management and other trade unions. As with past movements (A320, painting, etc.), the CGT stands ready to organize any employee-led initiative to build the collective leverage necessary to win.

Ms. Sadika Houari HO HR Airbus Commercial Aircraft France
Toulouse, March 2, 2026
Dear Madam,
For several years now, during salary negotiations, CGT Airbus Commercial Aircraft has conducted employee survey at company canteen exits and online.
This democratic process is highly valued by our colleagues, who find it only natural to be consulted on a matter that directly affects them: their pay. It has become an established event, and our colleagues take the exercise very seriously.
This year, 1,512 colleagues expressed their needs regarding salary increases; the average request stands at 237 euros. This is the amount they consider necessary to cope with the rising cost of living and to provide recognition for their work. This figure aligns with the CGT’s position: salary policy must not merely consist of « chasing » inflation but should ensure genuine career progression.
The company’s results, achieved through the hard work of its employees, more than allow for this demand to be met—especially in light of the decision to return 48% of net profits to shareholders.
Last year, despite already outstanding financial results, the salary policy left a significant number of colleagues behind. This is a clear factor in the disengagement that you yourselves have observed.
Yours faithfully,
The CGT Airbus Commercial Aircraft
