This page presents the 2025 and 2026 Hierarchical Minimum Salary (SMH) grids applicable to all Airbus Group employees.
The Airbus 2025 SMH grid results from salary policy agreement at Airbus group level in France of March 21, 2024*, and is applicable to all Airbus employees from September 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025.
The Airbus 2026 SMH grid results from salary policy agreement at Airbus group level in France of March 26, 2025*, and is applicable to all Airbus employees from January 1, 2026.

The rules for applying these SMH grids come from the Airbus Group’s RELOAD agreement of February 6, 2023 (signed by FO, CFE-CGC, and CFTC and not signed by CGT), which itself stems from the new National Collective Agreement for the Steel Industry of February 7, 2022 (signed by FO, CFE-CGC, and CFDT and not signed by CGT).

Airbus Annual SMH Grids
The annual SMHs in the grids below are given as gross annual amounts and include all remuneration components, excluding seniority bonuses, variable pay for executives, bonuses or increments, salary compensations (e.g., team, on-call duty), premiums and gratifications, employee savings schemes, profit-sharing, and participation schemes.
Please note that Monthly SMH = Annual SMH / 13
CGT Opinion: The RELOAD agreement defines the principle of an annual remuneration spread over 13 months, which lowers the monthly SMHs. This allows for Airbus monthly SMHs to be lower than Metallurgy monthly SMHs calculated over 12 months!

When is my salary set to the SMH?
The immediate adjustment of the base salary to the monthly SMH occurs only in three cases: hiring, promotion to a higher job class, or change in working hours (transition to hourly fixed rate or annual fixed rate in days).
What happens if my annual remuneration is below the SMH?
If your annual remuneration is below the annual SMH, an « annual remuneration supplement » is paid as a differential allowance on your payslip before the end of May of the year following the reference calendar year. Annual remuneration includes all remuneration components defined above.
CGT Opinion: This allowance is not considered salary and therefore is not a vested right. It is reduced or lost if you move to a lower job class (made possible by the RELOAD agreement, for example, in the case of a reorganization). Furthermore, this allowance will be « eroded » by the amount of any salary increase (AG + AI) when the latter is lower than the differential allowance, your total remuneration (salary + differential allowance) will then remain unchanged.
It is for these reasons that the CGT consistently advocates for an automatic salary adjustment to the SMH as soon as the salary falls below the SMH.
